I wish John Lennon were here for this. Ben Masel too.
Grateful to still be around myself. Glad Meteor Blades is here with us for this. Many others as well.
This is an absolutely fascinating time for old 60s revolutionaries. It’s a shame more of them aren’t around to see it. The youth movement is inspiring and satisfying, and highly reminiscent.
It is our young people who have the most to lose and they are smart enough to realize it and know solutions when they stare them in the face. My hat’s off to the millennials. I stand in awe. Not to speak in sweeping generalizations or anything, but I do believe your generation are cooler than mine and my generation were pretty damned cool.
This has been a long time coming. Revolutions are easier to suppress than extinguish. This fire's been burning for a long time.
We fortunate ones live to see the changing of the guard, or at least the beginning of it. It’s going to surprise many just how mature, democratic and peaceful this movement is, and how well organized. We are going to take the White House. Nothing could be more American. The people speak. The people own this country.
It's been, and continues to be, a mighty struggle. So not to gloat but to glimpse victory is energizing, electrifying, positively transcendent. There was a long period of time where we lost every battle but we’re winning now. Every one of us is jazzed.
There is no doubt we're in for the fight of our lives, but the people are ready. We’ve had enough. And here we come.
For all the fallen heroes, brothers and sisters along the way. For John Lennon, Ben Masel and all who did not live to see this incredible moment when the people finally rise as one.
x YouTube VideoHere's to the rebels, the revolutionaries, the defiant ones. The ones who refuse to take it lying down.
It's a new day.
Now that it's happening, we must not let it fail. Thanks everyone for your hard work. Full speed ahead.
Let this movement be fueled by love.
People deserve healthcare because they are loved.
Kids deserve free education because their country loves them.
They deserve not to be thrown willy nilly into war for the same reason.
People deserve not to have it so hard for the same reason.
We all deserve better because we all deserve to live in a society based on love rather than hate. If we all stand up we can make it happen. Government of, by and for the people and let's try being good to each other for a change. There's been too much hate and violence. Time to come to our senses.
Love is and has always been the answer. How should a society behave? As if it loved its members. Let's make it so.
We get the society we demand. Or the one we settle for.
