I remember every battle, every march, every loss, every heartbreak.

I remember how we resisted, how we stood our ground.

I remember how they hated us, how they shot us down.

And now I'm wasted and I can't find my way home.

Long shadows are falling. It's not dark yet, but it's getting there.

We have come so far to find ourselves back where we started.

I look at you all, see the love there that's sleeping.

Nothing is more beautiful than righteous resistance.
